10 months....seriously?

This girl...

and her facial expressions...
(I promise she wasn't really choking herself in this picture even though it looks like it...)

She won't sit still, but she is always happy, laughing, loves loves LOVES Jace, hops out of my arms and into Jed's when he comes home, she is just so precious.  She kind of says, "Hi"...or she says that a lot even if that isn't what she is really saying.  She also says, "Ace" which we translate to "Jace" and she says that all the time, and even when she is looking at him...so I'm not sure if that's what she is meaning to say or not, but I wouldn't be surprised!

Oh, and Jace?  Still in love with her.  He lets her scratch and pinch him, but he loves that she wakes him up every morning, he loves to play with her, and hasn't been too annoyed by her....yet.

Wedding Day!

Behind the scenes...

Obviously not a professional, good shot, but isn't that a great looking family?

I love the expressions...even Aaron's!

And this is how you get babies to smile...

My favorite kiddos...who did awesome.  It helped that we had Grandma Janie with them all day, but seriously, they were in good moods, Connor fell asleep right before wedding time so she slept or was at least quiet during the wedding, they were just awesome.

Wedding Rehearsal!

Connor and Daddy hung out while the rest of us were practicing...

The adorable Luedke family...

Oh Kyler...you just never know what you're going to get.

And our Jacer!  (Grandma Carol got the shirts for the kids)

Me: "Let's practice wedding smiles!"

Me: "And now a silly face!"
Colton: "I don't do silly faces."

The happy couple!

Tallest to shortest!

Kyler showed off her pedicure...

These lovely ladies were the mass servers.  Fun fact: I remember being at their parents wedding, where I think Jennifer played trumpet.  Emma and Abby, along with big brother Wade, were flower girls at our wedding, and now they are servers in my sister's wedding!

Jena was the pianist...Kyler of course had to scope everything out.

Couldn't believe I got a good picture of this group!

This is more like it!

You just never know with Kyler...

And those boys...

And this adorable Johnson family!

Omaha Vacation

The weekend before Melissa's wedding was the only free weekend we had to get away this summer...so we traveled to Omaha to have some fun!
*There is an overload of pictures in this post!

Our first stop was the Omaha Children's Museum.  It's like a discovery center for kids.  Jace worked some gears trying to move some balls around, and played with a "tornado maker".

He played in a firetruck, went down an elephant slide, and played on a light piano.  He also worked really hard pulling a rope to get a chair to raise!

Connor was doing some discovery of her own once she was allowed to get out of the stroller...pulled herself up for the first time to get a better look at those water tubes!

Their special exhibit was a "Dinosaur" exhibit...so Jace dug for fossils.

And they had a train he could ride too!

Trying to get pictures of them together...

That was a Saturday, and that night we went to Bass Pro and did this...

and quickly learned that Cabela's shooting range is MUCH better.
We headed out to the hotel, and after quickly getting checked in we went to see "Planes: Fire and Rescue".  Well, Jed and Jace saw it and loved it...Connor just loved crawling around outside, and eventually napping in the car.

The next day we went to the Omaha Zoo.

The Sea Lion show was one of our first stops...Connor LOVED it. She was jumping, clapping, yelling, she absolutely loved it.  Jace couldn't wait to move on...

He had one thing on his mind: riding the camel.  Jed didn't think there was any way he would go through with it, but he was so excited and loved it.

This double stroller was a great garage-sale purchase.  The Omaha Zoo is huge, we did a LOT of walking, and it got hot.

We took a train ride and thought the seats in the front would be the best.

They may have been, but it was too noisy up there!

I think Jed and Jace are looking for lions here...

By the end of the day, they were both exhausted.

And a few random photos...
Jace took this one...

And our little explorer...
I'm pretty sure those binoculars, or "Noc-a-lars" as Jace calls them, are backwards, but he's happy!
