We interrupt Harvest...

For a birthday party!

Our sweet birthday girl....

Was not happy I wanted a picture of her....

But she cooperated....

Present opening is chaotic....

Hitting heads with Daddy...

The Grandmas checking out her baby doll...with the most evil sounding laugh....

Love Connor's expressions....

And again....she is in deep conversations with Morgan....

This is HILARIOUS....look at everyone's expressions...Colton's might be the best!

Birthday cake (that we didn't eat...) and cookies and brownies....served with 3 kinds of homemade ice cream thanks to Aunt Jena and Grandma Carol....YUMMY!

My beautiful, awesome, wonderful, perfect-for-me family!

With Grandma and Grandpa J....

And Great-Grandma Erma and Great-Grandpa George Johnson

Aunt Debi!

Great-Grandma Darlyne and Great-Grandpa Richard...

This was the best shot we could get of Connor with 1-week old Alexis and Aunt Mel and Uncle Aaron...

But Cassidy was ready to "CHEESE!"

And the best shot of Connor with Grandma and Grandpa B....

Peaches.

The face I get when I say it's time to go home from the field...even if I have warned him that we aren't staying long...he is living for the "not-school-days" right now...so he can stay out there all day!  Caught a ride back with Carl in the grain cart one night!

Practicing our "K-S-U" while waiting at the field....

Tired girl.....she doesn't carry her "bankie" around often, but when she does....

And introducing Kitty.  Or Peaches.  Or Sally.  Depending on the day and who you ask....

So, we were supposed to get a cat from another teacher at school.  When we met them to get the cat, she took one look at the kids and bolted.  Luckily, Connor didn't know we were supposed to get her, and I made Jace feel better when I told him the cat didn't like Connor.  :)

So then, a couple days later, this kitty shows up at Jennifer's office.  Sure.....we'll take her home.  Leary of her lasting very long at our house...we don't have a good track record with cats.  But as you can tell, it didn't take long at all for the kids to get attached....even if I'm not a cat person...this cat will let Connor do anything to her, so it's okay with me if she stays with us!

Jace heard on the news it was "Red Friday" in KC...for the Chiefs, so he insisted on a red shirt.  Thank you Luedke Excavating, this is the only red shirt he owns....goes well with his hair!

That would be Jace hiding under the blanket...during the "Jungle Book."  He told me he was scared of it and said it gave him nightmares after he watched it at Jena's house over the summer....guess he still doesn't like it!

We love going to 7:30 a.m. church in St. Joe, which means we leave our house by 7 at the latest...and we love going to Dunkin Donuts afterwards...nothing like a full belly of donuts and a nap on the way home!

Just when you think these two hate each other....

I love these two and their backpacks...

Meals on wheels!  Connor was content going to the field to pick up Jace...just wanted a little "matarooooni" to take with her!

And more kitty.

Introducing.....#6!

Boos Grandchild #6 that is!
Baby Alexis Dawn Powell is here!

I love the looks on the kids faces...

Especially Kyler's....if that doesn't show how excited she is....
And Aunt Angela is excited she is wearing a HAIRBOW!

And Grandma pulls out her phone and no one cares about the baby anymore....

Proud Mommy and Daddy!

WHEW!  That's a bunch of kiddos!

I crafted this!  Okay....I made the boards and my mom put the info and ribbon on...but hey, I crafted something!

Notice the difference in Connor?  Holding the baby vs. not holding the baby....

Sweet Alexis.....

You can't see it very good but I asked them to put "New Mom!" on Melissa's Starbucks!
