Twas the night before the
wedding, when Jena would say her vows,
After 6 long years, it’s
finally time to become a Tharman Now.
The decorations were hung at
the reception with care,
In relief that the wedding
day soon would be there!
The bride’s family was
nestled all snug in their beds
As visions of Jena and Carl
danced in their heads.
It wasn’t too long ago that
they had begun to recap
How it was that Jena ended up
with such a fine chap.
On the night of their first
date Jena heard such a clatter,
She ran up the stairs to see
what was the matter.
When what in front of her
eyes would appear,
But her brothers cleaning
their guns before Carl could get near.
The next 6, almost 7 years
have seemed to go so quick
Carl fit right in with the family,
and held on to his great chick.
And then last August, the
question finally came
Angela, go run 8 miles with
Jena, so Carl could ask permission to change Jena’s Name
Her family was ecstatic, the
brothers even agreed,
No finer fellow would be
found, Carl was the one for her indeed.
And with that this love story
started a whole new chapter.
Let’s all raise our glasses
and toast to their happily ever after.
