September...

is flying by.  *Sigh*

 

It's harvest time...Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa are checking out the new bin setup at Grandma J's and Papas...and if you look really close Jay is holding Jace next to the truck.

 

 

I hate that Jace isn't looking at the camera, but love his expression.  Great-Grandma went for a ride too, and I can just hear Jace saying "What's she doing in my seat?"

 

We still LOVE to swing and spend lots of time doing that...

 

Evidence of some of the fun stuff Jace did this summer....threw in this picture to show that we have been working on potty training...

 

And this picture because of his smile...he was really excited to see all these things again before they got put away!  Most of these items came from Barb's (daycare), or story hour at the library.

 

I'm super proud of this one...we went from being afraid of swimming pools and rivers at the beginning of summer, to a fish at the end of summer!

 

And yes, it is harvest, and I'm back to school.  Which means we are all super tired, and Jace doesn't see Daddy much.  So he told me one night that he needed to wait for Daddy to get home.  I agreed he could do that until I got the kitchen cleaned up, and he was asleep in 5 minutes or less.

Leave Dad in charge, and Jace ends up in his underwear swimming in the pool.  (That was filled up by rainwater!)  At least he put his water shoes on.

 

Crusin' around!  Just enough cupholders...one for the lemonade, one for the ice cream cone!

 

Eating ice cream again!  This time inside...oh what an adventure.

 

Jace's had a blowout...he enjoyed watching it drip, but didn't catch on to the idea of eating it faster.

Saddle Up and Ride!

Colton Luedke turned 5!  And he wanted a Cowboy-bucking-bull birthday party.

One Last Summer Trip...

Before the trip though, it looks as though Jace had a growth spurt over the summer...better get some new pants!

 

 

Jennifer and I took Colton, Kyler and Jace to Sea Life for our last summer trip.

 

They really liked it, but from an adults' point of view, it is way overpriced for what is there.

 

There were lots of fish, and the set up was neat!

After a lunch at Crayola Cafe, we headed home.

 

Looks like a good time was had by all!

Ahh...

I tried to get a picture of Jace in front of this sign...but my camera and I weren't fast enough.

 

 

He was very willing to stand in front of "his" corn to take a picture though... 

 

And oh boy...the combine.  Ahhh....it is that time of year.

 

It's also time to put away the boat.  This is the 3rd time Jace made it to the river, and he told us he was going swimming and he did.  He would have stayed in there the whole time if we hadn't coaxed him out.  That water was cold!
