Mushroom Hunting 101....

Step 1.  Take a nap.  No blankie?  No problem.  Just hold onto a gun.

Step 2.  Receive instructions.  Not sure who is teaching who in this picture...

Step 3.  Find mushroom.  "Do you see it Mom?"

Step 4.  Be very careful about picking it!

Step 5.  Got it!

When nature calls.....

Woohoo!  Way to go Jace!  (Okay, so Jed picked 3/4 of those by himself...but we helped a little bit!)

However, what better way to spend a snowy day in May...but to eat some mushrooms!  And Jace LOVES mushrooms!  (Darn it!)

Is great when we can enjoy it!  If we get snow in May (like they are predicting), that will be depressing after the last couple of days that have been so nice!

We haven't found many mushrooms yet this year....blame the crazy weather!

Planting has been delayed...not a real delay, just seems late...Jace says, "Let's get the show on the road!"

A Wedding....

Jed's cousin Courtney got married April 20th---here is Carl and Jena (a bridesmaid) at the reception...

Jace really liked the cake!  In fact, he loved the entire reception!

The only boy out there, waiting for the garter toss!  He stood in the back, but because none of the "guys" went for it...he still got it!

Jace loves helping with the yard work!

I heard Jace "messing around" one night and went to see what he was up to.  He was "doing laundry!"  Hopefully he keeps that up!  HA HA!

Colton and Kyler spent some time with us...this was nap time...ironic that the biggest kid has the smallest blanket on the smallest couch!

Needed Jace to try on some shorts...and this was the only way he was interested in doing it!

Jed was working at the shop and asked Jace to get his mud boots...he couldn't carry them so he had to "haul a big load!"

Still so cute when he sleeps!

A daycare "accident."  Ella bit him.  Ella's dad said she probably just couldn't resist him in his "Woody" the cowboy underwear.

Another Easter....

Our first Easter Egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Boos' new house!  They aren't living there yet...but that's where "the boys" and grandpa were working when the little kids got up from nap, so we just took the eggs to them!
