Preschool graduation...Part 1

Our friend Jaime is always willing to design some super cute invites for us...

A perk to working at the school...my class "volunteered" to watch the practice for graduation.  The preschoolers "needed" a pretend audience....

Jace wanted to be a "Farmer".

A crawfish boil!

So, we heard about these Crawfish boils.  So, of course, we needed to do one!

So, we ordered from a company in Louisiana, they were overnighted, and ta-da, crawfish!  You cook them alive....so once you rinse them off they start crawling around!

Proud to say Jace was the first one to hold one!  But it didn't take long for most of the kids to join in! 

While everything was busy boiling....Ryan did a little children's sermon.

It is quite a process.  Boil potatoes, and corn.  Boil shrimp, boil crawfish...and then it's a chore to eat the crawfish, because you have to peel them.  Honestly, if we did it again we would do a lot more shrimp and less crawfish.

It was fun though...and always great for the kids to hang out.  These kiddos were watching the Royals!

Jace is "almost" done with preschool.  Needed some shots for his graduation party, so this is a little early...but it's happening anyway!
