Warm Weather Fun

Unusually warm in February?  Picnic outside!

Not sure if she enjoys cleaning, or looking at herself in the mirror. 

We made it down to the gate...

We played with our Angus boy...and with each other.  :) 

Connor helped me in the kitchen making monkey bread...

And found the perfect spot to have a snack.  Isn't she cute? 

And....she discovered she likes licking the spoons while we are baking.

Oh February.

We had a lot of nice days in February...

The kids tested out the dog house...

Jace practiced reading to Connor...

Connor talked to her Dad on the phone...

And she helped with the cows..

Jace got to ride Austin's hoverboard....didn't take him any time at all to figure it out!

Oh--and Connor wanted a headband like Mom's.  :)

Cousins.

We sure do love them.  And we love days in February that are warm enough to play at the park!

The Ice Storm of 2017...that wasn't.

We got to spend more time at the doctor in January...yay.

We also "got" to spend time with Dad at the farm show...no surprise where Connor wanted to spend all her time...

The "Ice Storm" was talked up for days...everyone was in the usual panic.  And this is how much ice we got....

We got LUCKY.  And the weather was nice enough we got to go for a hike!

These kiddos are up for anything that involves being outside!

Connor was in my classroom and left her mark....

Warm Weather...

We have had some NICE weather in January. 

Jace spent some time shooting Colton's old bow, since Colton got a new one for Christmas...

We had an intense card game night...

Pictures of the cat house...and the cat.  This was supposed to be a dog house...but the cats have taken it over.  And two pictures because each of them needed a turn holding the cat...

Took advantage of a nice day (a super nice day that we didn't have school because of a water main break woohoooooo!)  and took the Luedke kids (minus Cassidy) on a walk through the timber.  Colton thought he was dying before we got back to the house...and I do think it turned out to be a couple miles...whoops....

Dad + Movie = Connor's perfect night!

Jena and I took the kids roller skating!  Jace did awesome for his first time!  He kept falling down but got right back up!  We told him this was a requirement for skiing, so he was determined!  Connor seemed to enjoy it for awhile...but really just wanted some popcorn!
