Before....

We have some catching up to do! Here are some "before" pictures of our new house:

Master bedroom:

So, the first time Colton came to see the house after we bought it, I pointed out Jace's room, then jokingly said this could be his room.  Well, it stuck.  Every time he comes over, he refers to it as "his" room.  He has even told Jed that he wants a TV in his room.  Oh yeah, and that's more wallpaper.

Well, since Colton had a room, he then claimed this one for Kyler.  Really thoughtful of him, as this has the biggest closet.

Fran

We are not weren't cat people.  Until we bought a new house, inherited a kitty, and the kitty became Jace's best friend.  We are dog people!  We had the best dog EVER, but unfortunately he was killed a week before Jace was born.  His name was Frankie, and he was the most energetic, fun-loving dog I'd ever met.  He rode in tractors ALL DAY LONG, afraid if he got out he wouldn't be let back in, and could even get into the tractor/combine/truck by himself.

So, there was one cat left at our new house, and after seeing how friendly she was with Jace, it was determined that we should name her Fran, in honor of Frankie.  Good thing we did.  She is an amazing kitty.  Want proof?  Watch the video....

I went out and moved Fran off the deck, and she hopped right back up there to play some more!

I guess we are cat people now.

It was hot, and required two fun grandparents to goof around to get Jace to smile, but we got some great photos!

Oh yeah, and thinking he is King.  Baling hay with Daddy.  Yep, got him strapped into a travel high chair that is strapped to the "Buddy Seat" in the tractor....they are still out baling, but I was betting it wouldn't take long and he would be asleep.  He was excited to go though!

You've Got a Friend In Me

 Today we got to have two play dates!  Yay! 

These kiddo's are children of Angela's high school friends: Ella (will be 2 in September), Taygen (age 5 1/2), Josie (10 months), and Jace.

Poor deprived kids.  It couldn't help that it was AT LEAST 1 hour past bedtime, and Jace only got 1 nap today.  They are still a couple of cuties!

All in a weekend.

We celebrated Aunt Melissa's birthday....(Jace and Kyler had fun climbimg on the mower with her)

Some basketball was played by Colton...

And Kyler, and Grandpa....

and Jace.  And they practiced sharing.

We had our second week of Kindermusik, and got to play in a pool filled with balls!  (The girl on the right is Miss Avery Kostman, our neighbor, who is just about 2 weeks younger than Jace.)

And after all that, it's only fitting that someone crash.
