OUTside.

Is great when we can enjoy it!  If we get snow in May (like they are predicting), that will be depressing after the last couple of days that have been so nice!

We haven't found many mushrooms yet this year....blame the crazy weather!

Planting has been delayed...not a real delay, just seems late...Jace says, "Let's get the show on the road!"

A Wedding....

Jed's cousin Courtney got married April 20th---here is Carl and Jena (a bridesmaid) at the reception...

Jace really liked the cake!  In fact, he loved the entire reception!

The only boy out there, waiting for the garter toss!  He stood in the back, but because none of the "guys" went for it...he still got it!

Jace loves helping with the yard work!

I heard Jace "messing around" one night and went to see what he was up to.  He was "doing laundry!"  Hopefully he keeps that up!  HA HA!

Colton and Kyler spent some time with us...this was nap time...ironic that the biggest kid has the smallest blanket on the smallest couch!

Needed Jace to try on some shorts...and this was the only way he was interested in doing it!

Jed was working at the shop and asked Jace to get his mud boots...he couldn't carry them so he had to "haul a big load!"

A daycare "accident."  Ella bit him.  Ella's dad said she probably just couldn't resist him in his "Woody" the cowboy underwear.

Another Easter....

Our first Easter Egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Boos' new house!  They aren't living there yet...but that's where "the boys" and grandpa were working when the little kids got up from nap, so we just took the eggs to them!

A little odd that "SPRING" has sprung....yet we still need the fireplace!

The Easter Bunny brought a fishing pole that Jace is VERY excited about!

After going to Sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. we didn't have to be anywhere until the evening...so we got some gardening done!

Then it was off to Grandma J's!

3-Year Pictures

With an un-cooperative boy...means you incorporate a large stick, and a great photographer can capture some perfect examples of his personality!

Some things about our favorite 3-year-old boy:

1.  Loves donuts, macaroni, ice cream, pancakes, and chocolate milk.

2.  Takes any opportunity to be outside.

3.  His favorite shoes right now:  Mud boots.

4.  Favorite show:  Umizoomi.

5.  Favorite color: Purple or Green

6.  Favorite Song:  (Besides KidSongs): "1994" by Jason Aldean.  He is pretty good at the part that says, "Joe! Joe! Joe! Joe!"

7.  Favorite movies: Toy Story, Polar Express, and the video I made for him for his birthday

8.  He is VERY helpful.  Really, he is.  He likes to help with laundry, likes to wipe off the kitchen table, he tries to fold clothes, and loves to try to get the trash from the kitchen to the garage.  (Thank goodness for those force-flex trashbags!)

9.  He is excited about being a big brother; maybe just because he knows when the baby comes it is time to get out the combine.

10.  He prefers to wear shirts with tractors and trains on them more than anything else.

11.  At his recent checkup he was in the 5th percentile in weight, and the 49th percentile in height.  Who knew we would have a scrawny kid?

12.  He still has red hair and brown eyes.

13.  If you tell him "I love you" he will often respond with "I love you mostest!"

14.  He is all boy....and he is our boy....and we are so blessed to have such a fun, loving, healthy guy.
