Connor turns 5!!!!!

I had no idea this nightlight would get the reaction that it did...

We went to the field for our annual birthday-cake celebration with Dad, because you know, HARVEST.

Best day for both kids...Connor with her new nightlight, Jace with a new shirt that says "Born to FARM.  Forced to go to SCHOOL."

Party time! 

For some reason we didn't get a picture of Connor with the Luedkes, but only Derek and the girls were there.  Jennifer and Colton were at Colton's game. 

HOWEVER, we got a picture of Derek with his best buddy Max!

We LOVE Labor Day....

Even if we hate summer ending...

We always celebrate with a Flag Football game!

School Starts!

Cousins...some are better picture takers than others...

Connor starts 4-year old preschool with Mrs. Stock!

Jace starts 3rd grade with Mrs. Klaus!  In his pictures he was frowning in one because he REALLY didn't want to go back to school...would have much rather stayed on the farm...but once he got going it was fine!

First day:  Cream of Wheat for breakfast, and Jace crashed on the way home!

Pics with Mom and Dad!  Jed was gone on open house night and Jace's first day, so we got one with him the second day of school, which was Connor's first day!

The end....

The last thing we did before summer was REALLY over, Jed took the kids camping.  And, once again, they arrived home in the middle of the night because it started storming.

Oh!  And we made ice cream.  :) 

Cramming it in...

We had our "Connor and Mom Day"...we went mini-golf and she picked McDonald's for lunch.

Squeezed in a trip to the Sabetha pool with the Kostman's and Luedke's.  Jace didn't go, but Connor had fun and wore herself out! 

Then we had "Jace and Mom" day...we mini golfed again, and he pick Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch...he's got this figured out!  Then we shopped until he dropped!

Colton turned 11...

Connor's free spirit continues...she has latched onto these wolf ears for a headband in the hottest part of summer...

Impromptu fishing and wienie roast at the pond...

Took a trip to the Topeka Discovery Center with the Tharmans!
