A haircut.

Our FIRST haircut.  After seeing Jace's hair flappin' in the breeze...it was time for a hair cut.

What's in his mouth?  A sucker! 

Warm enough today for shorts!   

Hope he starts walking soon...he is taking some steps, but still prefers crawling.  His shorts are gonna get worn out pretty quickly if he doesn't!

The lawn boys (Derek and Colton) were hard at work.

And Colton worked really hard pulling Jace through the yard.  "He's really HEAVY!"  If you can see the expression on Jace's face, it looks like he is grunting to help Colton out.

This was a birthday present from Grandma Carol and Grandpa Jerry, and it is a favorite!  He doesn't mind just hanging out in it, and of course loves going for a ride!

And, we have to finish with another window picture.  Jace's love of windows was evident early on, and he still loves watching out the windows.  Tonight, we got to watch Grandpa Jerry Johnson planting corn.

He would have there all night!

A Birthday Party.

Jace had a GREAT birthday party last weekend.

He only hesitated a little when given his own cupcake.  As you can see, the whole cupcake is in his mouth.

It took some chewing, but he got the whole cupcake down!

Ahh....add some milk, and that is a happy birthday boy!

Party Animal....

Poor Jace partied too hard at daycare on his birthday.  This is the first time EVER that this has happened.

Woke up just in time for his birthday cake!

Happy Birthday to Jace!

Can't believe it, but Jace is 1 today! 

Some things to know about Jace:

1.  Jace has two teeth.

2.  He's not walking yet.....but is an expert crawler.

3.  He LOVES being outside.  Or standing at a window looking outside.

4.  He will crawl in the grass, but is a little hesitant of putting his bare feet in the grass.

5.  He says MaMa and DaDa....and we think he is talking to us.

6.  He loves any sort of ball...basketball, football....

7.  He frequently carries things around in his mouth when he is crawling...especially his socks....

8.  He still has RED hair and Brown eyes.

9.  He LOVES bathtime.

10.  He waves bye-bye and gives High-5's.

11.  He LOVES to eat ice-cream.

12.  He points to the cows out the window, and laughs when you "Moo".

Jace is our sweet baby, that's not a baby anymore.

Had a little accident with a door this week...you can't notice it so much here...

But a couple days later and the bruise looks pretty tough.

The weather was so nice this week we ventured outside to see the bulls up close...

It's March.

Jace will turn 1 this month.  Yikes.

Jace doesn't ride in this baby carseat anymore.

He's cruising around the furniture...and is even taking a few steps...
