Hello Summer.

Ahhh....summer.  :)  What to do?

Stand at the door and hope someone takes me outside.  (And lay on the floor and cry if no one takes me out!)

Eat strawberries.  And watermelon.

Let someone put some funny glasses on me....and hope I don't go cross-eyed.

Help Mom around the house.  In this particular instance, I dumped out some laundry, a bag of clothespins, and various other items, then stood in the laundry basket to survey my work.

Nap in the car.

Finally!  Play outside!

Learn to pedal a bike.

Fight over a favorite toy.

And go for a ride. Maybe next time with a seatbelt. Oh, summer, we are so glad you are here!

Sneak peek.....

Our summer project.  Moving.

Whew.

We go from no excitement to way too much excitement!  It was a busy weekend!  We spent Saturday in Manhattan watching Aunt Melissa grdaute from K-State!  We also got to watch Morgan and Carl graduate, but didn't get any pictures of them!

Yay!  Spring 2011 Graduate Melissa!  A future TEACHER!

2 of her favorite boys---Colton and Aaron

The WHOLE crew!  Jed, Angela, and Jace, Aaron and Melissa, Jerry and Carol, Jennifer, Kyler, and Colton

Jace spent some time hanging out at Jena and Melissa's house.  Here he is with Aunt Jena.

A family photo...

A lot of K-State grads take their picture by this Wildcat at the Alumni Center....maybe someday Jace will have his picture taken here as a graduate!

Party time!  It was a cold day, but we celebrated Melissa's graduation at Jerry and Carol's on Sunday.

Princess Kyler shows off her cheerleading skills....

Trying to somehow get a picture of Mel with her niece and nephews...notices the cookies in their hands....but that didn't keep them still for long.

Colton LOVES kisses from Aunt Melissa!

Look at that!  3 kids in a picture together!  Melissa had their shirts made by our cousin, Jennifer Molleker.

Now that's a good shot!  Congratulations Melissa we are all proud of you!

Just two...

Not much excitement around here!  Here's just two pictures of Jace...We are spending a lot of time outside of course, since the weather is finally nice, and NOT windy.  (Of course, now that I say that it will be windy tomorrow!)  At the Fort Sales last weekend I snagged this bike for $5....thinking it would be for Colton.  However, Jace has become attached to it.  It helps that it makes a LOT of noises...even makes "blinker" sounds!  Such a COOL dude!

And then there's this:  This is what Jace will be wearing to watch Auntie M, or Aunt Issa, or Aunt Melissa (depending on who you ask!) graduate from K-STATE!  This will be Jace's first trip to Manhattan!  Can't wait!
