I can do it...all by myself.

Just to give you an idea of our big backyard, which we all love...

C'mon Mom, pull me in the wagon!

I'll get in myself.

See?  And that was done with a cookie in my mouth.

Meet our new friend!  We got Angus last week.  He's going to be a great dog.  : )

And, a random picture--we celebrated my Grandpa Richard Johnson's 82nd birthday this last weekend at my grandparents new garage.  These are all but one of the great-grandchildren:  Cheyenne, Wade, Colton, and Clay, and Jace and Kyler.  Surprisingly, we got a decent picture of them all!  Christmas Card here we come....just have to "photoshop" the missing great-grandchild, Jaeleigh, into the picture.

Inside...

can sometimes be just as much fun as outside!

Jace has really taken to the big bathtub in our bathroom...becoming quite the swimmer!

Say CHEESE!

He loves to brush his teeth.  Not sure how much "brushing" is going on, but he's learning.  He's still only got 8 teeth, but he's working on another one.

Hi!

He's "into" everything....

And one of his favorite "toys"...a calendar Jed made for his family last Christmas...it has pictures of tractors, combines, dogs, and all of Jed's family.  We have to take it down for Jace to look at several times each week!

And a last few pictures...

Some of these are old...but I was cleaning off my phone and came across them!

Jace enjoying a bath, and a mohawk!

Mushrooms!  Wow those look so yummy!!!

A great way to go grocery shopping...Jace gets a chocolate shake, I get groceries.  Works well until he tips the shake over and it spills all over himself.

Jace and Kyler enjoy playing in their friend Gracie's playhouse.  They remind me of the munchkins from the Wizard of Oz!

Jace enjoying the hot weather and water earlier in the summer.

We are all LOVING the deck on our new house.  After we moved Jace and I ate breakfast out there...here he is with his honeybun, which is his current favorite breakfast food!

I don't think there was any music playing, but he loved having the headphones on, and I guess pretending like he was listening to the iPod!

Helping out AGAIN!  I took the extension out of the Swiffer so he could help clean.  And, look at that binky in his mouth!  It went away at the beginning of August...and it wasn't that bad!  Thank goodness!

Another painting project...Jed's boss' wife and I teamed up to paint this at Jed's office.  This photo isn't the finished product, but it looks pretty good!

Crazy cousins, together again!

Jace at cross-country practice before school started.  A stroller and a honeybun make for a happy baby!

And last, Jace going out with his boots on!

Super Movers, and some more random photos

Along with painting inside the house, the house has wood siding, that needs stained.  After getting the stain, Jed decided to start with the swingset.  Here is Jed working on the swingset, with Jay and Jerry helping.

Moving day!  What started out as just moving "the big stuff" turned into cleaning out the entire house from top to bottom.  In a matter of hours.  It was amazing.  Thanks so much to our great helpers!

Curtis Albers, Derek Luedke, Jed, Carl Tharman, and Aaron Powell try to decide what is the best way to get a gun safe into the basement?

And after everything is moved, they decide to unpack and set up our new patio furniture.  What a great crew!

A very happy Angela and Jed the day our furniture was finally delivered!

Even Jace helped move.  Even if it was by sleeping so that I could put all the clothes from our closets in the truck and around him.

Being helpful again!  Loved dragging cords around while I was trying to set things up.

And, the pink walls.  Tinted primer.  These walls were just about the end of the project.  First the wallpaper had to be removed.  Then we had to primer the walls.  Then our friend Blaine Luedke came and skimmed the entire walls to fix the marks from taking off the wallpaper.  Then he sanded.  Then we wiped down the walls.  Then we pink-primered.  Then Blaine fixed a few more spots.  Then the first coat of burgandy went up.  Then the second coat.  And with the second coat the paint ran and ruined it.  So then we sanded again.  And then our savior Gail Stevens who was painting some ceilings in the house came to our rescue and put new primer on.  Then the first coat of burgandy.  Then the second coat.  And they were finished.  Wowzers.

Not-very-good pictures, but a view of the living and dining room.  After all the work, sweat, and tears that went into the dining room, it turned out perfect.

Summer Photos...

A random family photo, taken for my Dad to take to his class reunion...number 40!

Jace, Colton, and Kyler have spent a LOT of time together this summer.  Jace has been at their house a LOT while we've been working on the house, and they have been over to our house to play quite a bit!  Here they are enjoying a box and a few other random toys!

Jed started a new job this summer, managing the Troy branch of Frontier Chemical, and selling Pioneer seed products.  This is Colton and his friend Braxton at the customer appreciation meeting.  Colton is 4, Braxton is 4, going on 5 in December.

Kyler, Jace, Colton, and Braxton

And, we couldn't forget Kamryn, Braxton's twin.  Braxton, Kamryn, and Jace go to the same same babysitter.

And, a birthday party!  Colton turned 4!!  A Phineas and Ferb birthday party, complete with Cowboy hat, boots, jeans, and a Phineas and Ferb shirt.

Jace helped me set up the computer after our internet was installed.  He has loved running through the big rooms with no furniture in them!

A close up of Jace while he was helping in the office.

And a photo from early July I think?  My cousin Bruce Boos, and his wife Jackie, and kids Ethan and Alex that live in Chicago stopped by on their way to visit their own families in Council Grove and Garden City.  Great-Grandchilren on the couch: Ethan (age 6?), Colton (4), Alex (3?), Grandma Pat and Grandpa Bud, Kyler, and Jace and I on the floor.

It was really hard trying to get a picture of these kiddos together.

Then let's throw in the grandchildren: Bruce, Melissa, Jennifer, Paige and Nick.  Again, not an easy task.

During...

Me, happily taking off wallpaper in the teeny, tiniest, bathroom ever.

The dining/living rooms, wallpaper removed, and primer on walls.

Standing in the dining room, looking into hallway and kitchen...

Stairs, with handrail removed, because there was wallpaper behind it!

Living room and dining room, dining room with burgandy on top part of walls, everything else tan.

Master bedroom, finished!

Jace's room, finished!  Tan walls, white trim.
