We are thankful for...

These two awesome kiddos.  We've got two of the best. Especially since they still willingly pose for pictures!

It was time to get out the train!  Choo choo!

We hurried and got Christmas stuff put up the day after Thanksgiving so that on Saturday we could travel to Hays to watch the Troy Trojans in the State Championship!  It was a tough game and we were down most of the game, but we ended up coming out on top!  State Champs!

Jace and Reid Greaser...babysitter's son and team quarterback.

And Jace's friend Riley was there.  Maybe we'll be able to recreate this photo someday!

And...a random picture of this girl.  She gets the mail for us when we get home every day.  SO helpful!

Family Photos (Not ours) and a birthday!

Snapped some family photos of the Luedkes...with their dozer!  This makes everyone happy.

And we got some of Alexis...

And the Powell family!

Cassidy turns 3 on November 28...and celebrated with a Peppa Pig party!

November....

Jace really gets into the costumes and wigs...

We made a leaf pile!

Looks like it is getting cold if Jace is dressing like this for school...

Connor woke me up at 5:30 one morning.  "Mom, my hair bow fell out."  Well, that sure makes my heart happy!! :)  SO, we got up and fixed the hair bow, and made muffins!

Sometimes we have a little too much fun at bedtime with Dad...

The slime craze hit our house.  (EWW.)  So, we finally made slime and played with it.

Great-Grandpa George moved to Two Timbers and we love playing with the farm toys they keep up there!

Oh Connor.

Sometimes, mornings are rough.

A NEW ROAD!!!  Schneider's and Jed have been working on our new road!  How exciting!

Connor had her 3 year well check.  The doctor determined she is healthy, right on track (although tall...) and that she is, in fact, a Jim Dandy.  Oh Connor.

Halloweeeeeeeeeen

But a little bit of cuteness first.  Got them in matching dresses AND shoes!  Next: A hairbow for Cassidy...

And for once Kyler was also a willing subject!

Our Halloween caravan stopped at Great-Grandma Pat Boos' home at Vintage Park in Atchison.  It doesn't take these kids long to make themselves at home...

We stopped at Grandma Carol's house, and then rode out to the field to see Grandpa Jerry.  What a good looking crew!  Clearly KSU was a hot item this year!

We worked in a stop at Great-Grandpa Bud's house too!

Obviously it was a little windy that day...

We had a chance to go to the Halloween party at St. John's Lutheran church.  Connor won her division of the costume contest ($5!!!)

On another day we visited Great-Grandma Erma at her house...with Brook the kitty and Max the pumpkin!

Next we visited Great-Grandpa George at the Wathena Nursing Home.  Keeping kids contained in a nursing home is............fun.

And we ended up at Grandma and Grandpa J's!

On Halloween Day, Jed got to see a cute pumpkin at the field!

Jace was Jordy Nelson for Halloween.  THE Jordy Nelson.  A farm kid from Riley County (close to K-State), decided to walk on the K-State football team, and is now a really really good NFL player that plays for the Green Bay Packers.  And he continues to come back to the family farm in his offseason.

So, it was only fitting to take Jordy Nelson back to his roots and take a picture by the combin

Connor was a cowgirl.  Costume made by Grandma B.  Horse and hat were birthday presents.
Yee-haw!

Pumpkins and Other Nonsense...

Look Mom!  I put it on all by myself!

Connor and I went to run at the track while Jace was at CCD and she took my picture for once!

Pancakes, made to order!

Somehow we got to celebrate Jennifer's birthday at her house with some apple cake, yum!

A day in the life of Jace....dressed like a cowboy for spirit week, helped Dad make some sort of tool to toss out and make sure you were doing a good job cutting beans, and eventually we just get exhausted and pass out.  Wherever.

Pumpkin time! Not quite as grossed out by the pumpkin guts.  AND, he gets to use the knives a little bit...
The pumpkin in the middle is a Mr. Potato-head pumpkin.  Just pop in the pieces!

SCARY FACE!!!

Got rid of the soccer mom car at the end of October!!  WOOHOO!!

Replaced it with a beautiful Ford F-1

Ain't she a beaut?  Got the truck on a Friday night, Monday morning (Halloween) hit a deer on the way to school.  Lucky us.....

And, how about some dirty dirty bean combining? When it rained so much in September and flooded it left behind a lot of crap.  It made for some disgusting bean harvests...

And a little more harvest...lots of good supervisors!

And another harvest tradition...every year seems like it's such a hassle to get this done, but so glad when we do!

Johnson Family Photo!

Grandma and Grandpa J with the grandkids!

And the Johnson boys!
