Halloween part 2....

Just because you are going trick or treating, you still have to find time to carve a pumpkin!

 Asked Connor to help. NO!

Got a quick picture with Dad before we left to go trick-or-treating....and he went hunting....

Pictures with kids.  Always an adventure.  :)
The only way Connor was going with us was if she got to wear her boots.  So she may look like an astronaut, but she is really a Rockford Peach.  Big thanks to my mom (Grandma B) for making that costume.  A week before Halloween... :)

A picture with Mom!

And a picture with Brook!  The friendly ghost!

Last year, Jace was a Royals player.  And they made it to the World Series.  This year, Jace was not just a Royals player....he was the CATCHER...Salvador Perez.  His favorite player.  My favorite player.  Maybe even his Dad's favorite player.  I asked the P.E. teacher on a whim and sure enough, he came up with catchers gear for him to wear...even if it was 3 sizes too big!

Some "neighborhood" kids...aka the Kostman girls!  Jasmine (Addy) and the Cheetah girl (Avery).

Classmates--Avery, Jace, and Kyler

A photo with Brook on her first Halloween!  Cutest ghost around!

Photo of Great-Grandma Erma and Great-Grandpa George.  And Connor with food so she will sit still...

And Brook too!  I guess since Connor had food she didn't mind that she wasn't the one holding Brook.

And a visit to Grandma Lucille at the nursing home.  Notice Jace's hand?  He doesn't think any different of Grandma Lucille at the nursing home.  He remembers Grandma.  Connor won't ever remember her before the nursing home, but Jace does, and it's pretty special.

My favorite catcher.  :)

Halloween Part 1....

The day began with a school Halloween party....Jace and his friend Riley got wrapped in toilet paper like a Mummy!

Next, they played a game where they had to carry marshmallows with a spoon.  Jace and his friend Avery waited "patiently" in line for their turn...

Here is one group of Mummies!  Of course as soon as the timer said to stop, Jace ripped all his off.

After school we changed into baseball players at the Luedke house!  4 Royals players, and a Rockford Peach!

They were all excited to make it to our first stop to Trick or Treat--Great-Grandma Darlyne's and Great-Grandpa Richard's!

Baby Alexis the ballerina met up with us and Aunt Debi was there too!

After a stop at the bank, we went to see Great-Grandma Pat and Great-Grandpa Bud.

The last stop of the night was at Grandma and Grandpa B's.  As you can tell...some of them were done with the mandatory pictures at this point...

Renyer's Pumpkin Patch 2015

Also known as the great picture overload......

We were finally able to squeeze in the pumpkin patch towards the end of October.  Taking advantage of the photo spot before we even got in there....

These two.  Love. Them.

Even Connor's smile.  :)

Got all the "Boos" grandkids with Grandma Carol for a picture: Kyler, 5, Connor 2, Alexis 5 weeks, Cassidy-almost 2, Jace 5, and Colton 8.

And the "Johnson" grandkids.  Brook is 4 months.  Her first trip to the pumpkin patch! Connor looking enthused...but hey, at least she is letting Jace hold Brook.

And Jena and Brook!

The slide is the first thing you come to.....some didn't waste any time.  Notice Connor and Jace on the stairs?

Sometimes I just make my kids do something, knowing that if they only do it they will like it.  Jace may have just went without Connor wanting him to....but look at their faces!

Jace is even better on these trikes than he was last year!

Cassidy and Connor getting brave on the tire mountain....it's all fun and games until some big kids you don't know come and jump and crawl all over the place.  Boo.....

Another thing I "made" Jace take Connor on....this one she didn't last very long on, but hey, it's really hard to stand up on that.  Jace loved it though.

They all took a ride on the barrel train....I wondered what Connor would think but she stayed in, didn't cry, and didn't try to climb out, so that's a win!

Notice below right:  Looks like Cassidy is thinking about climbing out!

Luedke family hayrack ride!

How tall this fall?

See ya next year!
