The After Party.....

Connor's actual birthday was on Monday...and we had good intentions of letting her open a present on her birthday, but harvest has been going so good we didn't get Dad in the house before bedtime!  Finally at 6:15 a couple mornings later Connor opened her birthday present from us...a Minnie Mouse shirt and a noise-making-steering-wheel!

She got her other birthday present at her party over the weekend....which is actually for Jace and Connor....

So I've wanted a Gator for the kids forever...knowing how much Jace loved his tractor...it seemed like we would really use one!

Gators are umm....super expensive.  So, enter Craigslist....and the week before school I met a Grandma at a McDonald's in Kansas City...and this Gator has been parked at Melissa and Aaron's for the last 6 weeks....thinking that would be the safest place, and Jace saw it the week after we got it.  He asked a lot of questions.....

He got to be part of the surprise...Jed got the Gator out of the truck that Melissa and Aaron brought it in...and Jace drove it around to where Connor was.  It was great...too bad it was too dark to video.  Notice the horn we attached?  He honked that thing all around the house...and we love the gator!  (So much that Connor threw a big fit when we had to go in to open all the other presents she got....whoops.)

I talked her into putting her Minnie dress once....

And she really liked walking around in the light up heels!
And yes, she likes wearing Jace's old shirts.  Don't judge.  I think it's cute.

More Connor and Kitty!

Our "Harvest Crew"....Jace told Jena the gator was the combine and the tractor was the auger wagon....looks like a good team!

An official picture of the birthday outfit before it got dirty...

She loved these fleece Minnie pajamas....even if it was 70 degrees outside....
She wanted to wear them to bed, so I let her, and she was up 3 times.  They have since been hidden until it gets a lot colder...

And that sucker in her mouth?  Aunt Morgan made her a Minnie Mouse sucker-holder-thing....there has to be about 300 suckers on there....

It sure is cute though....and looked great with the cake.  Suckers for days at our house!

And then it was back to business as usual at the field!

Jace drove me around in the grain cart while Connor rode with Dad!
