Our Brown Eyed BOY....

So every morning I get up and exercise.  When I'm done, around 6 a.m., I go get Jace and put him in bed with Jed for awhile before I wake them both up and then Jace and I usually go get Connor.  When I put him in, he snuggles right up to Jed,to the point where Jed often thinks he is squishing him, but that is where Jace likes to be.  He's a snuggler.  He gets that from me....

The view out our kitchen window one evening...didn't see deer here all winter, until we finally got some snow, then that food plot looked yummy to them!

We took Jace to the Bull Riding at the Sprint Center in KC.  Thought he would love it, and while he liked it, he wasn't feeling good and got sick on the way home.  After all that, he said he prefers the rodeo at Troy in June to this inside rodeo....

Found this random shot on Jed's phone...

"I don't always check cows, but when I do it's snowing like crazy and I wear a headlamp.  And I drive home."

Jace is really into the Mario on the N64...and he is getting good at it.  Connor helps during these nightly competitions by doing her best to distract her Dad....

Just a little evidence that they do indeed love each other, and Connor will climb all over him and he doesn't hardly flinch!

Valentine's box!  Jace wanted a "Dusty from Fire and Rescue" valentine's box, so we actually crafted, and he was really pleased with the finished product!  (As were Jed and I....we CRAFTED!)

Our Brown Eyed Girl

Is a fist bumpin',

Dirt lovin',

Carseat snoozin',

Risk takin',

Angus lovin', kinda girl.

And she likes wearing Jace's clothes.  And they almost fit her....don't mind the 3 year age difference, there is only a 10 pound difference...

We were without Jace one night and the three of us went to La Mesa.  She loved it.  And she was so good...we can't seem to remember Jace ever sitting that good and eating good at a restaurant!  But, big girl loves her food....

Oh yeah, she's a helper too!

Some Valentine's Fun...

When Connor steals the show...which happens more often than not...

Sometimes it takes multiple tries to get a decent looking photo...

As of February, Connor is 17 months, and Jace is 4 years and almost 11 months...

We had some great cousin time playing card games.  The shocked look on Colton's face?  Probably because Kyler is so dang good at memory...

A 7-year old, two almost 5-year olds, a 15 month old, and a 17 month old.  It's a win for all of them (kinda) looking at the camera at the same time!

Jace and Connor had fun opening up their Valentine's cards.  Connor, under the crazy hair, just loved tearing up the paper....

She might read cards upside-down, but she knows a dollar when she sees one!

Jace was helpful...he sorted out which cards were Connor's and which were his.

And a couple random shots: Connor, her binky, and the stairs...

And me practicing with my camera...love this sleeping kid.

A little snow...

First a "helpless" little girl that wants to be carried down the stairs because she hasn't figured out how to "scoot" down the stairs yet...

Despite his facial expression, they love vacuuming.  :)

And a snowSTORM!  This was the first weekend in February...Jena and Carl signed on their house, and with lots of help got everything moved on Friday afternoon (January 30).  Saturday was spent taping/unpacking/little bit of everything.  Had plans to go back out there on Sunday so we dropped the kids off with Grandma and Grandpa B, but by the time we tried to head to Carl and Jena's new house south of Troy, we had heard that Hwy 20 by Bendena was drifting, so we headed that way instead to get the kids and head home.  Good thing we did--there were some drifts and Jerry and janie ended up spending the night at Carl and Jena's after they tried to go home and got their truck stuck!

But, a snowstorm leads to playing in the SNOW, which everyone loved of course!

And we leave you with a crazy hair, messy chair, don't care!
