And one more quick trip....SkyZone with the Luedkes!  

Whirlwind....

After Mozingo we came home, dropped off the boat, and headed up to Omaha, intending to go to the zoo the next day, which we did! 

After we left the zoo, we decided to drive on up to Gavin's Point Dam and tour the dam.  The Dam was closed the following morning so we couldn't get across to the power plant, so we started the morning with a Fish Hatchery tour.

Jace was full of questions, and Connor was just mad she couldn't jump in with the field trip that was there!

The hotel was fun...kids shared a bed, and they had an AUTOMATIC pancake maker!

At the information center, we learned how the dam was made.

This sign was neat--it showed all the current stats.

Getting ready to tour the plant, which the kids enjoyed for the first 5 minutes...and then they went along with it but a little too much boring info for Connor!

When we left the dam we went to a little tourist attraction and they had a round of bumper boats!

And THEN we took a long drive home.

Mozingo

We rented a cabin at Mozingo for a few days...

Jace was super excited to have his bike to ride the trails behind our cabin..

Connor got poked by a stick.  :)

The trails behind our cabin led to the lake, and Jace caught this fish all by himself!  He loved being able to head out there and fish by himself!

Connor and baby caught a nap on the boat...

And the Tharman's came up one afternoon!

Grandma and Grandpa B came up and brought Kyler another day...

And that may have been the most exciting day!  Grandpa drove the boat while Jed helped Jace learn to ski!!!

Connor watched for awhile, but then she wanted to try.  She gave it about two tries and was done.

July Excitement...

Jace lost (another) tooth...starting on the front ones!

We did swimming lessons in Hiawatha...and they both did GREAT!

Jace and Lane had fun at Jena's pool...

So did Connor!  Swimming lessons paid off as she FINALLY decided to jump in!  Makes Dad so happy!

Brook and Logan spent some time at our house...

And Devin Paul was born!  He was born on July 20.  I love the picture of Max and Connor looking at him!

4th of July Fun!!

We started the festivities with swimming and fireworks at Grandma and Grandpa B's on Sunday night.  Then on the 3rd we went to the Grable's, like tradition!

We took the ranger there, and had some tired kids on the way home!

All the boys played pool games...

And then the adults played a little slip and slide!

The kids had their float in the parade, and won best decorated for the 2nd year in a row!
