Cookie Baking

Thank goodness for Aunt Melissa.  And her patience.

Here Jace, you try it.

Colton supervises...and is in charge of the sugar on the cookies.

Timeout for some play-doh...thanks Grandma!

Bubbles!  Grandma had fun giving the kids bubbles...it distracted them for awhile at least!

Ho Ho Ho!

Double Trouble...or Teamwork?

Colton was so helpful in the cleanup efforts.

And what is a trip to Grandma and Grandpa's without some time playing with the couch cushions?

Thanksgiving--->Christmas

The only picture I have from Thanksgiving at our house...Jace "helping" Dad cut up a Turkey..yummy!

A Christmas tree skirt gets smoothed out with the help of the loader.

Beads aren't for the tree...they are for Jace!

Peek-a-boo!  Merry Christmas!

Christmas lights on our house...that's a first for us!

Toys...

Come in all sizes.

A ride with Dad on the skidloader...leaves Jace speechless.

The mound of plastic dropcloths we had used while we were painting this summer...so comfy!

A little styrofoam from a box...so stylish!

Ahhh....Mom and Dad's bed.  Jace will spend so much time getting comfy in here...and screaming for MOM or DADDY to get in, or sometimes to get out!

We took advantage of one not-so-cold day and took a little wagon ride.  I pulled him down to the mailbox...and Jace thought him and Angus could maybe pull it back up to the house...looks like they have a ways to go!

Our first....SNOW.

The view from our front porch this morning...

And our back yard...

And Jace!  Who would have gladly walked through the snow if I would have let him!  Jed brought him downstairs this morning and opened the front door to show him the snow, and after that we had to go from room to room looking out all the windows at the snow.  I can't wait to take him sledding.

And our beautiful house...covered in snow.

Too bad it's gone already!

Halloween....

was a bust.  Jace was not interested.

But, Batman came to see us a few days before Halloween.  And was nice enough to push sister Kyler in the swing!

And, took some time to show me how he can swing too!

Oh Kyler.  Don't get stuck!

And, Jace thinks he is big enough to swing in the big swing.  Kind of.  Mostly just because he wanted to "sing, sing!" And Kyler was already there!

And now for Halloween.  Jace didn't like his costume.  Didn't want pictures.  Sigh.  Maybe next year.
One picture with my Grandma and Grandpa Johnson.

Colton (Batman) Enjoyed playing with Grandpa Boos' chair!

Kyler was a little Cat-Girl!

Cat-Girl, getting up-close and personal with Haas....Melissa's dog.  And yes, he has his costume on too!

Batman, Aunt Issa, and Haas

Our little cowboy.  Snuck the hat on while he wasn't looking!  Maybe in the next couple weeks he'll be more willing to wear the rest of the costume!  :)
