December Randomness...

My beautiful, sleeping, baby, with her beloved Tigey and Blankie...

The "neighborhood" kids...at our Christmas gathering, right before Santa walked through the door and all the kids screamed and ran and hid...except the littlest girls who stood frozen and CRIED...Claire, Cooper, Jace, Austin, Kyler, Cassidy, Gracie, Connor, and Colton.  (Missing Ella...)

Our pasture Star...

And our house lights...

Connor in her high chair, kicked back, relaxing...

Jace's Superkid day!  This is a day in Kindergarten where his family comes and says what they love most about him...you can tell how special Jace is!

Continue Superkid day at home...and Jace gets to sit in the high chair!  Wait, what?

Dancing on the way to school because it's Polar Express Day in Kindergarten!  They watched the movie, and drank hot cocoa!

A little before-school picture of his too-short pajamas...that I had JUST BOUGHT a month before!  Oh well, it's Polar Express day, so who cares?

Connor, and her Minion backpack, filled with Jace's cows, helping carry trash out!

I don't know how this happened, but it did, and I loved it, and they actually laid there for a long time together!

Miss Personality...

We got to watch Brook one Saturday before Christmas, and we loved having her at our house!

And a couple of our Elf shenanigans this year...in addition to having a girlfriend (Tinkerbell) and putting his head in our Rice Krispie box, he also drew faces on the kids pictures in the living room!  That darn Willie!

Johnson Family Christmas...

The kiddos are getting good at having their own table, and actually eating there!

Jace, Connor, and Brook!

Connor and Grandpa got very involved in their toys...

The dog ears seem to make an appearance every year...

And I think Jace is losing his enthusiasm about them...

And another tradition: BINGO!  Jace is really getting good at this game!

Trees and Trains....

Very possibly our two favorite Christmas things...

And I'm so glad they are still willing to sit and let me take their pictures...even if their smiles are getting a little goofy, or they won't exactly look AT me...

Jace is always super excited to put a new ornament on the tree...especially when it's John Deere!  Connor got a singing Elsa ornament....yay....let it go....

I've been dreaming of this tree for awhile, and finally got it done this year.  And it is my FAVORITE.  I've got all of our "family" and yearly ornaments on it.  So fun to look back at our family over the years!

Skinny boy got his own Christmas tree this year, and he wanted a "red, white and blue, America" tree.  Can't argue with that!

And little miss can't be left out...there was a tree in her window, even if she didn't pick it out it was "HER" tree...

Don't mind her "Woody" shirt.  She likes shopping in Jace's closet...

We love the Christmas Train, but we REALLY love when we get to play with it for a little while after the Christmas tree goes down...

Such precision...

Oh, the faces of Connor!  Looks like she has never had her picture taken before

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way Jace and Connor are playing together (making a gate with their hands that lifts when the train gets close) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they look at each other and laugh.....

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FINALLY!  It came after Christmas, but we couldn't wait to get out and PLAY!

Clearly Jace is so excited he felt like rolling in it....aka making a snow angel...

Angus was just excited we were outside to play with him!

The new grader Jace got for Christmas came in handy!

Jace was determined to go sledding in the pasture...which meant he was walking back up the hill after he would sled down it...tired him out for sure, but he did it!

And what's a good snow without some cousins to play with?
