A new friend.

We've been busy.
Taking care of dirty laundry...

Playing outside with Kyler in this warm January weather....

And getting in traffic jams....

And taking care of our new friend.  Kitty.

We thought Fran was irreplaceable, but then Kitty adopted us a few weeks ago.  I've been buying cat food sparingly, and we haven't named Kitty, because I'm sure once we do something will happen.

But Kitty is hanging around...and we are really getting attached.  She is such a good Kitty.

And we've been busy "working" with Colton and Kyler.  Our tractors, trucks, and trains have been very busy lately.

And we're having so much fun.

This and that...

I HATE the movie E.T.  It's creepy and gross...but when Jace is walking around in his bath towel...he makes a pretty cute E.T....if that is possible!

Looks like Jace is ready for a hair cut!

Tried to get a picture of the cute "melting snowman" cookie he made at daycare...Jace was more worried about eating it though!

Cool dude!

Colton came to our house for a little bit yesterday while Kyler went to get her first haircut.  It was just nice enough outside that they HAD to go down the slide a couple times!

Cheese!  Last night we were at the Grables', and although we put a makeshift gate infront of the stairs, it didn't take these two long to climb over it.  They were content to just sit at the bottom of the stairs, but that didn't last long!

Jace is ready to go!  He packed his bag and hoped Aunt Mel would come get him on her way to Mexico, but she must have forgot him!  Oh well, he got to go see Colton and Kyler instead!

I like trains.

Trains trains trains.  I like trains.  Jace got several new trains and some books about trains for Christmas.  We have read them so many times I have them memorized.  Which is good when you let Jace be in charge of turning the pages....

We even let Colton get in on the train action...

Playing trains makes us hungry...

Can't remember where we were coming back from when I snapped this picture...but Jace is FINALLY forward facing...and still has some naps in the car.

He is such a good helper...loves doing laundry.

Jace LOVES the iPad...if he sees anyone getting out the iPad he lays on the floor and insists you lay it down for him to look at with you.  Of course, you must look at tractor pictures...

Hey Boss.......

Jace is confused.  He knew what a cow said (Moo).  Then, Jed taught him how to "call" the cows...(Hey Boss....).  Now, if you ask Jace what a cow says, that's his answer.  Oh well.  He got to watch the "Bosses" being worked this past weekend and loved it.  We went out there to eat lunch, went to get something, and Jace was asleep when we got back.  I thought we would just go on home and Jace would never know he had missed out.  Oh no.  I got back in the truck and he was waking up, realized where we were, and we had to get out and get in on the action!

Morgan helped Jace get a closer look while Daddy got stuff ready to go.

Jace had a comfy seat to watch from!

Mom and Jace, watching everyone else work!

And of course, we had to check out the tractor that was sitting nearby.

Before too long, he actually lost interest in the "bosses", but luckily we had a skidloader to play with and "do some work".

More Christmas Pictures....

The last of our Christmas Pictures!

The whole family at Great-Grandma Erma and Great-Grandpa George Johnson's!

Carl and Jena soon-to-be Tharman (July!), Angela, Jed, and Jace, Erma and George Johnson, Jerry and Janie Johnson, and Jay and Morgan soon-to-be Johnson (June!)

Grandparents and Grandkids...

Jace with Great Grandma Erma and Great Grandpa George.

Jace helped EVERYONE open presents....here he is helping Great-Grandpa George Johnson.

Trying out a Christmas present that Dad got...

Once again...have sled.  Need SNOW.

Look at me!  Just getting comfy!

Ahhh...the best seat in the house.

Christmas morning.  This was fun....and oh-so-festive.

This hat was the best $20 I spent this year.  Jace and I were at a busy Wal-Mart one day (I HATE Wal-Mart and try to avoid it at ALL costs.)  Lines were long, Jace was cranky, and he saw this hat, so I picked it up for him to play with while we had to wait in line....which turned into me buying it so he would sit while I was checking out, and I thought well, I'll just take it back later.  He played with this in the truck, at home, on Christmas, and even after I had put it away after Christmas, he found it and got it out to play with.  It sings, and jingles, and is really obnoxious.  No wonder he likes it.

Family photo!  The kids showed up in their Christmas finest...and we gave Jerry and Janie some festive clothes to join in the fun!

Looking at the yearly calendar with Grandpa

Opening up one of his own presents...

Where's Jace?

Playing trains with Daddy...

Merry Christmas!
