Water, water, everywhere...

Ahh....the sprinkler.  Jace wasn't too sure of this crazy thing at first, but once he warmed up to it, there was no stopping him!

And what better way to end the day than going for a ride!  Colton and Jace are taking a ride with Jed and Addyson Davies.

Oh yeah, and thinking he is King.  Baling hay with Daddy.  Yep, got him strapped into a travel high chair that is strapped to the "Buddy Seat" in the tractor....they are still out baling, but I was betting it wouldn't take long and he would be asleep.  He was excited to go though!

You've Got a Friend In Me

 Today we got to have two play dates!  Yay! 

These kiddo's are children of Angela's high school friends: Ella (will be 2 in September), Taygen (age 5 1/2), Josie (10 months), and Jace.

And ends with the fly swatter being taken away from both, because Jace couldn't share.

Poor deprived kids.  It couldn't help that it was AT LEAST 1 hour past bedtime, and Jace only got 1 nap today.  They are still a couple of cuties!

All in a weekend.

But only if we stay on the sidewalk.

We celebrated Aunt Melissa's birthday....(Jace and Kyler had fun climbimg on the mower with her)

Some basketball was played by Colton...

And Kyler, and Grandpa....

and Jace.  And they practiced sharing.

We had our second week of Kindermusik, and got to play in a pool filled with balls!  (The girl on the right is Miss Avery Kostman, our neighbor, who is just about 2 weeks younger than Jace.)

And after all that, it's only fitting that someone crash.

Looks a little bigger than last year, don't you think?

Sweet Summertime

Jace loves watermelon!  Especially eating it outside with no help and no shirt!

Jace and I went to Story Hour at the library last week...and Kindermusik last weekend.  He took it pretty well....sat in my lap shy at first, but as you can tell from this picture, it doesn't take him long to warm up.

We got out our Turtle sandbox/pool...really meant to be a sandbox, but we think it's the perfect size pool.  As much as Jace loves the sprinkler and bath time, he wasn't too sure about this pool.  It probably didn't help that it was COLD water!

However, if his cousins are around, their pool is alright!  Here I think Jace is wondering why Kyler isn't IN the pool!

And of course, Colton was there to keep us entertained.

And sometimes you need to take a break from the water and just hang out.

We have a Waterbug....

We found a frog!  Had fun chasing it around, until Jace stepped on it.  Oops.

Some cousins came over to play....and they all wanted outside!

Oh Jace.  You are mommy's baby.  Ice cream.  Yum.

Woops...got some ice cream on the slide.

Don't worry mom.  I'll clean myself up.

Jace could care less if the water is cold or spraying him in the face...if there is a water hose somewhere, he'll find it.
