Hall-O-Ween

It was a treat.

Max the Rodeo Clown and Minnie Mouse Brook met up with us at the field to do some trick or treating!

Grandma Lucille was excited to see us!

This is our sad face, when we get to the field and bring lunch at they have just broken down...

Luigi and Princess Peach were ready for some Mario Kart!

After a busy Sunday afternoon, Jace guilted me into carving pumpkins when we got home.  He loves doing it, but he cannot stand the feel of the pumpkin guts!

And, Connor painted a pumpkin which made her super happy!

At school this year the gradeschool did a parade and a "street dance" instead of class parties!

In preschool, Connor still had a Halloween party, and she got dressed up as a Mummy!

After school we started trick or treating, and it was snowing!

Barb always has a great costume!

And at the end of the night, this is us.

Finishing up October...

Connor hanging out while Jena and I were taking pictures at Jennifer's one day...just her and baby, watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"

Flag football ended with a 2nd place finish!
Tim Grable, Jed, and Matt Woodruff coached.
Don, Lane, Gavin, Riley, Jack and Jace had a lot of fun!

Harvest picture attempt...it was a little cold, and a little sunny, and a lot windy!

And our first round of Trick or Treating...

We started at the Atchison nursing home.  They had a "party" at 5:30, so we showed up and they were starting with some piano music, which was loud enough so the residents could hear...and the rest of us couldn't hear each other talk!  Grandma didn't recognize us, and she was really enjoying the piano music, so Grandpa came to the back to visit with us.

Aunt Debi with the crew...

Great-Grandma Darlyne and Great-Grandpa Richard...

We beat Gpa B to his house and heard him coming so I told everyone to sit on the couch and pretend like they were sleeping...and they did!

And then we quickly got a picture with Gpa and Gma B, and Grandpa B realized how crazy these kids were and he went straight back to the field! Smart man...
We had Kyler as a Troy cheerleader, Colton as Eric Hosmer, Alexis was Poppy from Trolls, Cassidy was a blue witch that kept saying "Bibbity, Bobbity Boo!", and Jace was Luige from Mario Brothers and Connor was Princess Peach from Mario brothers!

What a crew!

Cheezy and Moose

We are having the best time with horse lessons!

Jace didn't like cleaning hooves at first but he is getting better at it--it's hard to get the hoof picked up!  This is from his first day--working on balance!

Look like a couple of pros!

Cheezy loves to follow Moose!

They started working on trotting with the horses!  Jace took right off with it, but Connor is still deciding if she likes all that bouncing!

Such concentration!
Notice the pink helmet? And pink saddle?  Dream come true!

Not a great picture...but two very happy kids!

Renyer's Pumpkin Patch

The kids have been here a few times, so they know their favorite spots!
No surprise Connor was excited to get on the "horses"...

Brook wasn't too sure about the slide...

Grandma's "Patch"

The worst "How tall this fall" pictures ever...
This year we went on a Sunday, after flag football in Horton, so that late afternoon sun wasn't good at all for these pictures!

Brook on the left and right with Grandma, and in the middle we have Colton, Kyler, Cassidy, and Alexis.

Jace had no problems with the slide!

Alexis got a little help from her mama!

Until next year!
