We made a little speed vacation to KC in July, just the four of us!
Our main mission was to see this highly anticipated movie in our house...
Despicable Me 3! The last couple summers our movie choices have disappointed...but not this year!
Of course Cabela's was visited...
We talked the kids into trying "Jazz" a Louisiana restaurant that we love. While we were there we ordered calamari and they tried it and liked it, and we even told them what it was!
Later that night we swam and hung out at the hotel, and we ordered pizza delivery to our room, which was a first for our kids to have it delivered!
The next day, we visited Schlitterbahn water park. The kids LOVED it. Jace was all over the slides and tubes, Connor took a little bit to warm up. She would have been content to play in the kids play place all day, but Jed got her to go down some slides with him. And....while they did their tube flipped over, but she was still smiling!
They were SO tired on the way home. Jace stayed awake long enough to drive over to Legend's and get the Arby's he had been begging for, but didn't get to eat much of it before he was OUT!
